You’re not a pop culture commentary strip unless you do a comic about Lady Gaga. She demands our national attention.
By wearing meat.

One has to wonder why Karen is even driving around with Independent Music James in the first place.
Happy Presidents’ Day! Sketch Comedy will be updating Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week. Independent Music James has a few things he would like to say about music, and independence.
This comic idea comes to you courtesy of Ash Green, of AshGreen.net. LawsuitPool is a parody of a parody, and his name comes from readers placing bets in a “lawsuit pool” as to how long until Marvel makes me take this strip down.
Basically I don’t even write original material anymore. Tune in next week for Prinny Week.
Another strip written by Robert Montoya. He did the script, I just brought the artwork.
Well, okay, Becky’s appearance was my idea. But still.
The first two of these signs are actual Tire Discounters displays. Another good one that I’ve seen is “WE’RE TOO MODEST TO BE THIS GOOD.” Also: “QU!T 5T34LIN6 O R LETT3R$” and “CHAOS, PANIC AND DISORDER: MY WORK HERE IS DONE”
They’re amusing, but half of the humor is the audacity that they have to post up something so ridiculous. God bless Tire Discounters.
Co-writing comics with Robert Montoya has required some extra effort to come up with scripts we’re both pleased with, and we’ve had to scrap a few ideas in the process. Writing is re-writing, as they say.
Also, here’s a closer look at my shirt.
Robert Montoya had a hand in this one as well. The punchline is mine, though; I find Descartes reedeeculous Frahhnch ack-scent to be inordinately funny.
P.S. Have you seen the award presentation I drew for the 2010 Webcomic List Awards? Have you seen all the awards presentations?
It’s the big game! The biggest of games!
This strip was also co-written by Robert Montoya (http://impactshortfilm.webs.com/).
