Look, Karen, you knew what you were signing up for.
Man, it hurts to link back to that comic. Why was my old artwork so horrible and bad?
You know, like Astro Boy.
CALLBACKS: Introducing the New Robot: Robot Mart
My brother suggested that in the next strip, I draw myself and Ben Bernanke cranking out dollars on a printing press. But that would be cheating.
OH SNAP, SOCIO-ECONOMIC COMMENTARY
For once, I have nothing self-deprecating to say about my artwork for this particular strip, but check back in three months.
On a related note, there are numerous ways you can support Sketch Comedy. Tell a friend, share us on your social networks, buy stuff in our store, and help us reach all sorts of demographics! I have no idea what I’m doing here.
CALLBACKS: Big O Parody Week: Showtime
I took more than a few creative liberties with this strip. The line/scene from the first panel doesn’t appear verbatim anywhere in the series, although the creators included more than a few such Roger-Dorothy ship tease moments. Moreover, I don’t actually ship the two of them, so the second panel is also a spurious comic fabrication.
When I told my brother the strip idea, though, his third-panel expression was more or less his reaction. So at least there’s that.
The original artwork for this strip is available for purchase in the Sketch Comedy Store.
