How can you support Sketch Comedy? The ways are numerous:

1) Tell a friend
The number-one thing you can do to support Sketch Comedy is share. If you enjoy a particular strip, take a moment to think of a friend who’d also enjoy it, and email them a link. Save comics to your hard drive, post ‘em on your blog, or print ‘em out and tack ‘em up at work. They are free to share.

2) Network Socially
Odds are you’re already on Facebook and Twitter. Sketch Comedy on Facebook is not only a great opportunity to keep up with the latest strips and share them with your friends, it also features bonuses like “alternate strips,” deleted scenes and extra punchlines. I also post links to new strips via Twitter, amidst inane prattlings about what I had for lunch. Retweet! Retweet everything.
Do you use social news sites like Digg, Reddit, and StumbleUpon? Share comics you enjoy on these sites, and upvote strips that have already been posted. If you do I will love you forever.

3) Vote at Webcomic Toplists

These sites provide directory listings of webcomics, ranked by popularity. Different factors contribute to a site’s rank in the list, but one thing you can do to make a difference in Sketch Comedy’s ranking is vote. At ComicHovel and TopWebcomics, you can vote with just a click or two, and you don’t have to sign up for an account to vote. You can vote as often as once per day and have your votes count toward SC’s ranking. TheWebcomicList doesn’t have a voting system, but if you’re already on the site, you can support SC with a positive review or an add to your TWCL favorites.

These sites often have their own message boards, as well. Do you frequent any webcomics message boards? Tell your internet friends about Sketch Comedy. They’re already on the internet, so it’s not like they’re going to think you’re a dork or anything.

4) Donate
Hosting is expensive. So is eating out. So is gas. Help me eat food, drive places, and–most importantly–continue to have a place on the web to post silly pictures: donate! There are plenty of cool ways to support Sketch Comedy without spending a dime, but to those of you who are willing to part with your dimes: we salute you.
