I managed to not click the tvtropes links! I just read that one page. That is a spell called WILLPOWER my friend.
Also, I did in fact confuse it with the transition from dramatic comic to artist tract, which came later. But now that the phenomenon is named I see it everywhere. In fact, I really should stop reading Questionable Content.

Congrats, Ari. It’s amazing what a little warning and a little willpower can do. But don’t stop reading QC! I only started reading it a couple months ago, and I think it’s a solid comic.
As far as the meta is concerned, I’ve been dying twice since day one.
