CALLBACKS: Ubiquitus Moss, The Once And Future Tebow
I enjoy football as much as the next guy. Moreover, I’ll be the first to point out that the game has tactical and strategic depth, and that there are economic, culturo-historical, and political levels to the game: that even as we humans shape the sport, it in turn shapes us. But–as both a creator of and commentator on pop culture–it is my solemn moral responsibility to point out that sometimes football is incredibly, incredibly stupid.
I do this by making up silly names and drawing wizards.
Here is a smoother and less dithery version of the comic image, but without the animation.
1) Hilarious
2) I am not seeing animation. Am I missing something?
For some reason, the animation in the gif hasn’t been working in some browsers for me. If you download the image file and view it from your hard drive (say, with Windows Picture Viewer), it should work for you. Here’s the direct link to the comic image: http://thesketchy.com/comics/2012-02-03-Super-Bowl-Sundae.gif
Hope that helps. 🙂
Oh I see it now. I think it worked once in Firefox, but now it does it in IE. Nice animationality.
I wasn’t seeing the animation in Safari and now I am.
