If you’ve been around SC for any length of time, you’re probably familiar with my fellow cartoonist Brian Russell. I wanted to let you know about his latest book project, What I Remember About Dinosaurs.
In the past few decades, we’ve seen large changes in our understanding of dinosaurs. We’ve seen closer and closer links of dinosaurs to birds (to the point where some scientists conjecture that T-Rex had feathers); we’ve seen a host of Jurassic Park movies; we’ve seen that brontosaurus never existed. What I Remember About Dinosaurs is a personal retrospective on what we knew about dinosaurs and what we know now. It’s a sort of dialogue between Brian Russell twenty years ago and the modern-day Brian who still keeps his inner child alive, and who loves dinosaurs.
And it doesn’t exist yet.
So, Brian is looking for people to help him make his book exist. To that end, he’s running a Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds to publish it. By backing the project monetarily, you can earn yourself various rewards, including a digital and/or hard copy of the book itself. If you’re interested, you can find out more at the project’s Kickstarter page. Give it a look, check out the introduction video, and if you’d like to help make What I Remember About Dinosaurs a reality, pledge your support!
