CALLBACKS: Big O Parody Week: Showtime
No Big O Parody Week would be complete without poking fun at the bizarre philosophical conceits found in the series. For all the fun, slam-bang mecha action and noir intrigue, it’s still got that anime tendency to turn into a total mishmash of incomprehensible plot twists and weird symbolism. The final two episodes really make you feel sympathy for the characters–robbed of their memories and living in a city that makes no sense whatsoever.

I’m imagining squishing sounds.
The great thing about comics is that they stimulate the imagination.
But you knew that already.
I could go for a memory sandwich. Jack, you on with me?
Sounds great. We can go into town and get some of Ellen’s bread!
