CALLBACKS: Tropes Are Not Bad, The Many Uses Of Shyguys, It’s Not Like We Played These Games for the Plot, Anyway
A tenuous explanation if ever I saw one.
And now, prepare yourself for my relentless holiday shill!
Blah blah blah, Santa Howard shirts, limited-time holiday offer, blah blah. And now it’s time for me to get started on this week’s comic #2.
Karen, say something only you would say so we know that it is you talking and not Jackson. **shhh don’t tell jackson**
I’d never thought of as a creative aid.
*Sigh* “I’d never thought multiple personality disorder as a creative aid.”
Is that… is that a Shy Guy holding up your chair?
!!!!!! This comic just became infinitely better!!
It is not a Shyguy, it is a Buy Guy! I purchased it off the internet! It is not some other kind of guy from a video game series that I’ve never played! It holds up my chair!
It is a Fargate! From the makers of Thindependence Day!Oh my gosh, you guy. I love the Shy Guy.
And this is why most creative webcomics died out.
Because they gave their characters a measure of autonomy? Or because they didn’t?
Because they didn’t give their characters a free will.
Incidentally, it can also contribute to comic decline if they don’t give their characters sandwiches.
What would be the harm in letting poor ole Howard have a sandwich? It’s Christmas after all…
Merry Christmas, Howard. *makes it rain sandwiches with my mage powers*
I hope you’re paying the ShyGuy for his services; otherwise, it’s a violation of the Constitution.
Shyguy? I see no Shyguy. I only see a Buy Guy. Do you want me to give it a wheelchair and a mohawk?
Well somebody’s been reading 1/0! And good thing, too. 1/0 was awesome. 🙂
And I’m always happy when the Pungirls or Descartes get something to do.
